
Manaslu is recently open trekking area of Nepal. The trek around Manaslu was officially opened to tourists in 1991. This region of Nepal sees few trekkers, which makes a visit here more exclusive and well-preserved. So it has still its own natural virgin loveliness that every trekker`s can have the highest satisfaction of nature`s beauty. In this area Tamang`s, Sherpa's diverse tradition makes the tour exciting with the combination of natural beauty. This trek can be started from Gorkha with five hour drive from Kathmandu along with Larke pass (5200m).
Manaslu Trek provides perfect views of mountains, combination of rich cultural heritage, genuine adventure, incomparable beauty and rich bio diversity. Mt Manaslu (8156m) is the highest peak on the area which is eight highest peaks in the world. It is located near to the border of Nepal and Tibet. The majestic Himalayan ranges in this area consist of cultural diversities and natural scenery with high altitude romantic glacier lakes and fascinating flora and fauna, all features of this region, have made it one of the most well liked places of Nepal. Trekkers require special trekking permit to trek all the way through the Manasalu area. The standard Manasalu circuit trekking usually begins at Gorkha and end at Besishar.
