Jiri Gokyo Chola Pass EBC Trekking

The ancient way of Everest Trekking in Nepal initiated in 1953 when two renowned figures Sir Edmund Hillary and Mr. Tenzing Nogey Sherpa had taken the same route for the Mt. Everest expedition. Jiri to Everest Base Camp and Kalapattar is a highly praised trekking route of the Everest region. After an eight hour scenic drive from Kathmandu to Jiri The portion of the trek from Jiri to Lukla is often uncrowned. The trekking route passes through the villages thus we can have easy access to watch the culture and tradition of the local people. When we go for trekking this route, we begin our trekking from Jiri 1905m [a gateway of Mt. Everest]. Otherwise, we also can have direct flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Lukla is a residence of Sherpa and home of Buddhist monasteries, passing through these Sherpa villages and monasteries. Once in the Khumbu region the mountain views improve with every step Kwangde, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam ,the "horse saddle" of Kantega and of course the summit of Everest itself. Mount Everest National Park has been a popular destination for trekkers and climbers alike. This circuit trek provides a taste of the Khumbu that is second to none, and offers an excellent challenge to the ambitious trekkers on his or her first Himalayan trip. This is the combination of two treks that passed from Namche Bazaar, The main trading village of the Khumbu area. This trek continuing via Gokyo valley, Chola pass, Lobuche, Everest Base Camp and up to Kalapattar then back down to Tengboche monastery and all the way down to Lukla. We reach at Gokyo, Gokyo peak Kalapattar, from the place you can have an outstanding views of Everest along with Nuptse and Lhotse and finally, we return back to Lukla airport and we catch our plane to fly back to Kathmandu.
